When joining components with demanding requirements, ZHOTE® riveting technology is the right choice. Semi-tubular punch rivets penetrate the first layer of material and are formed into the subsequent sheet metal layer, creating an inseparable connection. Regardless of the manufacturer of your riveting equipment, we have the right semi-tubular punch rivets for you.
If you need riveting, we offer consumable parts and riveting systems.
When joining components with demanding technical requirements, ZHOTE® riveting technology is the right choice. Semi-hollow punch rivets penetrate the first layer of material and form in the subsequent sheet metal layers, creating an inseparable connection.
Regardless of the manufacturer of your riveting equipment, we can provide the right semi-hollow punch rivets.
From rivet hoppers and rivet sorting and delivery tanks to riveting tongs, we offer standardized system solutions. You'll benefit from efficient project management, maximum process reliability, and minimal spare parts inventory.
Introduction to Standard Semi-Hollow Punch Rivets
Riveting Materials: Iron, Copper, Steel, Aluminum, etc.
Rivet Lengths: 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 7mm, 8mm, 9mm, 10mm, 11mm, 12mm, 13mm
Rivet Diameter: 3.3mm or 5.3mm
Surface Treatment: Pickling, Phosphating, Passivation, Dacromet
Rivet Type: Loose or Through-Strip (5000 PCs/Reel)
Advanced Feeding Technology
Did you know that our system is independent of rivet length? This means: regardless of rivet length, only one feed hose or strip and one loading station are required.
The ZHOTE® feeder's screw conveyor is equipped with a mis-filling control device that detects incorrectly filled rivets. Dirt particles are collected by a separator. This helps reduce contamination and improve utilization.
Our system technology, especially our riveting tongs, meets all technical requirements. Using the ZHOTE® riveting frame, you can configure the force, position, and distance of the rivets, as well as the protrusion and recess of the rivet head.
A key advantage is that these settings, such as calibration coefficients, maintenance counters, and maximum values, can be stored directly on the rivet tongs when needed.
One control panel for all systems. Only one software is required for all systems. This reduces employee workload: The multi-technology workstation system features plug-and-play functionality and a standardized appearance, allowing for comprehensive operation and maintenance with only one training session.
1. Automotive Manufacturing
Used for joining lightweight automotive body materials, including body-in-white, doors, roof reinforcements, sunroofs, seat components, instrument panels, and airbags. Its advantage lies in its ability to join dissimilar materials (such as steel and aluminum) without damaging galvanized or coated surfaces, making it suitable for joining dissimilar materials.
2. Windows, Doors, and Construction
Used for connecting door and window accessories, curtain wall tabs, metal structures, and keels, preserving the original aesthetics of the panels.
3. Transportation
Applicable to connecting a variety of vehicle components, such as motorcycle and bicycle parts, communication cable ducts, and busbar ducts.
4. Industrial
Suitable for riveting busbar ducts, it offers high dynamic fatigue strength and impact energy resistance, enabling automated production.
5. New Energy and Dissimilar Materials
It has limited application in new energy vehicles, but its application is expected to expand into more areas in the future.
ZHOTE® riveting systems are primarily used in automotive manufacturing. ZHOTE® system suppliers are a key player in this area. ZHOTE® systems and technical expertise have provided numerous connectors for automotive bodies worldwide and are highly utilized.
